Hammond Groups

Groups are an integral part of what we do as a church.  We believe that spiritual growth happens best in the context of relationships.  That’s why we like to say “We Grow Better Together.”  Groups are so important to us as a church that we have made them an essential part of our long-term vision for what our church will become as God continues to work in us and through us.  Groups provide opportunity for people to connect relationally, develop a sense of community, and grow spiritually.

Each week over 800 adults attend one of our groups.   Groups at Trinity vary in style from traditional Sunday School or Adult Bible Fellowships to home groups.  They meet on Saturday night, Sunday morning, Sunday night, week nights both on campus and in homes.  The groups are divided by age, gender, marital status, stage of life, language spoken, and more.  There is a place for you!

Oakleaf Groups

We believe that the best way to grow is by doing life together with other people. This is why we often say that circles are better than rows. It is essential for your spiritual development to get out of a row and into a circle with other people to encourage, challenge, and to experience community together.

Groups meet throughout the Oakleaf area at different times all throughout the week. Groups also change a couple of times a year for you to explore different groups.

How often do groups meet?

This is entirely up to the group leader. Some groups meet every week. Others once a month or every other week. The group leader will communicate the correct schedule ahead of time with the group.

How long is the time commitment?

Our groups run in seasons. We have a fall and spring season. The fall season runs from mid-September through mid-November. The Spring season runs from February through May. We ask that you commit to the season so that you can give it time to build lasting relationships.

What kind of groups do you offer?

We want you to connect and develop relationships while in groups. For this reason, we offer groups that you can choose from based on demographic or topic. We offer age demographic groups for students through adults. We also offer gender specific groups as well as topical groups that may interest you such as parenting, marriage, or Financial Peace University. If you look through our group options for this season, I am sure you will find a group that interests you.

Is there childcare at groups?

This is entirely up to the group host home. Some of our groups have childcare, and it is provided at no extra cost, but some groups do not offer this benefit.
