SHARE

The message of Jesus has called each of us into a movement of mission and ministry. We have been called to GO. We have learned what it means for every person to consider our call to GO and to take new steps in the way we SHARE (speaking the message of Jesus), SERVE (living out the message of Jesus) and SEND (advancing the message of Jesus).

Our church has been invited to lead VBS at NAS Jax this summer. This is a great opportunity to serve in the community. The dates are June 17-21 from 9 am to noon (All volunteers must arrive by 8:30 am). Sign up to volunteer early as there are limited spaces available.

For Volunteers – You must fill out the Volunteer Agreement form and the Basic Criminal History and Statement of Admission form and send them to Alexis Catapane at acatapane@tbc.org or turn in at the church office when you sign up.

For Training – There will be a training session for all volunteers. You may choose to come either on Satuday, June 15th at 9 a.m. or on Sunday, June 16th at noon. We will meet for orientation first in the Plaza/Next Steps room at Trinity Baptist Church.

For VBS – once you submit your background form, you will be added to a clearance check list at the front gate. All you will need is your State ID/Lic. to show at the “Birmingham” Gate entrance. From there you will drive to the Base Chapel facilities at 987 Birmingham Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32212 (Corner of Birmingham Ave and Mustin Rd)

For Directions-Enter the base at the Birminham gate. Go to the 3rd light and the Chapel is on your right. (right before you get to the Chapel, there is an orange & white water tower on your right.)

If you have any questions, please contact Paul Scott at PScott@tbc.org.

Our church has the opportunity to sponsor local schools in the area. Serving opportunities allows us the platform to build gospel relationships with children, students and their parents.
