Housekeeping – Part-Time

The primary responsibilities of this position is the maintain the cleanliness inside buildings on campus by cleaning restrooms, offices, hallways and various classrooms and performing other functions within housekeeping as assigned. Must demonstrate a good attitude, a good work ethic and an ability to strive in a team environment as well as the ability to work independently. Qualified candidate should have cleaning related experience. Must be physically capable to perform strenuous labor on a consistent basis.

 

Groundskeeper – Part-Time

The primary responsibilities of the groundskeeper is to maintain lawns by mowing, weed eating, trimming, edging, mulching, raking, planting, and performing other lawn maintenance functions as assigned.   Must demonstrate a good attitude, a good work ethic and an ability to strive in a team environment as well as the ability to work independently.  Qualified candidate must be teachable and must be physically capable to perform strenuous labor on a consistent basis.


Trinity Christian Academy Assistant Band Director – Part-time

Trinity Christian Academy is seeking an assistant to the senior band director for the 2019-20 school year. Duties would include helping teach the marching band during football season and team teaching afternoon beginning and intermediate band classes during the regular school day on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. The candidate must be able attend marching rehearsals and help instruct on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays during marching season and attend the football games and Saturday competitions. Attendance at the marching band summer camp July 29 – August 9 would be expected as well.

 

ELEMENTARY TEACHER – FULL-TIME AND PART-TIME

Trinity Christian Academy is seeking FT teacher applicants for grades 4 and 6 position. The applicant must show evidence of an authentic and active Christian walk and will be a motivated individual with proficient teaching skills in an Elementary environment, excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral, and strong ability to multitask and lead a classroom. Experience teaching Elementary students is a plus. Must be a candidate for FACCS Certification. We are looking for a faculty member who understands the ministry of Christian Education, works well with a team of teachers, and willing to continue their educational growth. Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education required.

Trinity Christian Academy Marching Band Color Guard – Part-time

Trinity Christian Academy is seeking a qualified part-time coach for the 2019 Conquerors Marching Band Color Guard. The applicant must have experience as a performer or instructor and be able to attend practices and performances of the marching band.


Nursery/Extended Education Worker – Part-time

Trinity Christian Academy Nursery/Extended Education is seeking applicants for after school child care for infants to 4 year olds  (1:45-6:00pm). The applicant will be a motivated individual to care for children (ages 0-4) by providing supervision and classroom management. The applicant must be a team player that is equipped with a good attitude and a professional demeanor.


Substitute Teachers – Part-time

Trinity Christian Academy is seeking applications for substitute teachers.  The applicant will be a motivated individual with ability to commit to a flexible Monday – Friday school schedule, 7:45 a.m. to 3:10 p.m.  Ability to build meaningful, positive student-teacher relationship and classroom management with the ability to adhere to time constraints for activities.  AA degree or higher preferred.  Must be able to pass an extensive background check and provide their own childcare.

Development Director – Full-time

Trinity Baptist College is seeking applicants for Development Director whose primary responsibility is to expand on current development efforts at Trinity Baptist College. These efforts will increase awareness, present a positive image, and solicit support from the Christian community and the community at large. Specific responsibilities include: Coordinate events that generate money throughout the fiscal year. Maintain individual relationships with top donors and churches. Coordinate Alumni giving activities with Director of Alumni Affairs. Attend weekly staff meetings for College Business. Coordinate efforts with Communications Department as they relate to Press Releases. Attend regular meetings with the Development department, Coordinate entertaining College VIP’s and Chapel speakers. Coordinate with the donor database manager to insure accurate record keeping. Attend ongoing job specific training/workshops/continuing education. Presenting the Trinity Baptist College and its activities to local churches, foundations, and civic groups for the purpose of support. Teach one Bachelors level class per semester as needed. Recruit students as opportunities present themselves. Other duties as assigned. Must be proficient in MS Office, public speaking, ability to learn CRM database entry methods and Learning Management System, teaching experience and College Class management, and recruiting experience. Candidate must have a Graduate Degree.

 

Trinity Baptist College Instructors Full-time

Trinity Baptist College is seeking applicants for History Instructor.  This is a full-time, on campus position.  The History courses at TBC serve primarily to meet General Education requirements and to meet the requirements for a teaching field in History within the Secondary Education program.  The individual who fills this position must be able and willing to teach the full gamut of courses at the college as the sole history faculty member.  Courses include History of Civilization I/II, American History I/II, American Government, State and Local Government, The American Civil War, Medieval Europe and the Renaissance, 19th Century Europe and 20th Century America.  The successful history instructor will fully integrate a biblical worldview into each history course drawing appropriate attention to biblical principles within his/her teaching.  A typical teaching load is 12-15 credit hours per semester.  Additionally, full-time faculty serve as academic advisors to students.  Opportunities for teaching online courses are also available and would be compensated separately if hours exceed 12-15 on campus credits.   Qualifications: Masters or doctorate from accredited institution with minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in History required.  Previous teaching experience desired.  Full time faculty are expected to attend Trinity Baptist Church.  Interested candidates should submit a letter of interest outlining qualifications for teaching in a Christian college along with current CV.

 

Trinity Baptist College is seeking applicants for Speech Communications Instructor: This is a full-time, on campus position.  The speech communication courses at TBC serve primarily to meet General Education requirements and to meet the requirements for a teaching field in Speech/Drama in the Secondary Education Program.  The individual who fills this position must be able and willing to teach a variety of communications courses with heavy emphasis on theater and oral interpretation/performance.  Courses include Speech (fundamentals), Performance of Poetry, Performance of Dramatic/Narrative Literature, Costume and Make-Up Design, Stage Directing/Play Production, Fundamentals of Acting, and individual instruction.  A typical teaching load is 12-15 credits hours per semester which may be adjusted for activities such as directing a play/production.  The successful faculty member will work to develop a strong fine arts department with opportunity for students to be involved in stage presentations.  Qualifications:  Masters or doctorate from accredited institution with minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Communications required.  Previous production experience and teaching experience desired.  Full time faculty are expected to attend Trinity Baptist Church.  Interested candidates should submit a letter of interest outlining qualifications for teaching in a Christian college along with current CV.

Trinity Baptist College is seeking applicants for Elementary Education Instructor: This is an adjunct, on campus position.  Elementary Education is one of TBC’s signature core programs.  This position requires the ability to teach a variety of elementary education methods courses such as Teaching Science, Teaching Art/Music, Teaching Reading and Language Arts, and Health/Safety Education.  Adjunct responsibilities will vary each semester depending on enrollment needs. Typical loads will be 3 – 10 credit hours.  Adjunct faculty are not required to serve as academic advisors, attend chapel or faculty meetings.  Qualifications: Masters or doctorate from accredited institution with minimum of 18 graduate credits hours in Elementary Education.  Teaching experience on both the elementary and college level preferred.   Interested candidates should submit a letter of interest outlining qualifications for teaching in a Christian college along with current CV.

Trinity Rescue Mission Women’s Program Supervisor – Part-time

Trinity Rescue Mission is seeking a Women’s Program Supervisor whose primary function is to compassionately supervise residents of the Women and Children’s Center and overnight guests. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, leading daily meetings and Bible studies, help residents with required Lifeline program work, oversee activities of residents, assist case manager with resident intake, assist overnight guests with needs and services, manage and assist residents with completion of daily duties, maintain office files, work with volunteers, assist with meal service, and process donations. Candidate must be a motivated individual with strong communication skills, strong conflict resolution skills, organized, computer skills, and basic knowledge of general office equipment. Must be available to work nights and weekends. High School diploma or GED required and basic training in case management preferred.

 

Trinity Rescue Mission Bus Drivers – Part-time

Trinity Rescue Mission is looking to employ part-time bus drivers. The driver will be responsible for transporting passengers to their designated location and taking the necessary steps to provide safe, reliable, courteous and efficient transportation services. Opportunities are available for morning or afternoon routes – Monday through Friday. Requirements include: Driver must be 23 years of age or older, have a Class “B” CDL license with air brake and passenger endorsement, submit and pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol test, and must have and maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle report determined by the insurance carrier for Trinity Baptist Church. All CDL Drivers must also submit to a random drug and alcohol test when requested within 24 hours.
